Last of the First

He was thirteen when the ring took his tribe, and he watched every people since fall out of it before he was twenty. Then he lived sixty years and walked children to nine fires.

This one is told by the children. Badly, and several of them at once, because the only person who could tell it properly is the one they are telling it about.
